Welcome to Steakhouse Bourre Bonne, the signature steakhouse within Hotel Bourre Bonne — the newest and most exciting luxury hotel in downtown Louisville. Designed to bring an unmatched level of elegance and energy to the city, this is the place where timeless sophistication meets modern hospitality.
We’re seeking a poised, polished, and hospitality-driven Host/Hostess to join our opening team. As the first point of contact for every guest, this role is key to creating an unforgettable first impression and setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival with genuine hospitality and professionalism.
  • Escort guests to their tables, ensuring their arrival feels seamless and elevated.
  • Collaborate closely with the maître d’ or manager to seat guests at the best possible tables, balancing guest preferences with operational flow.
  • Accurately communicate all reservation details and guest notes to the service team to ensure a personalized dining experience.
  • Maintain a polished and professional appearance at all times, reflecting the luxury and elevated nature of the hotel and restaurant.
  • Assist with reservation confirmations, guest inquiries, and lobby ambiance to ensure an exceptional front-of-house environment.
  • Support a smooth, well-coordinated service experience for every guest.
Schedule & Expectations
  • Typical shift start times: between 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
  • Typical shift end times: between 10:00 PM – 12:00 AM
  • A uniform is provided. Team members are expected to maintain a high standard of personal presentation in line with the luxury atmosphere of the property.
