Job Summary

The Banquet Event Setup Expert is responsible for the setup, maintenance, and breakdown of all banquet events. This position ensures that event spaces are clean, organized, and properly arranged according to event specifications. The role also provides support to the Banquet Manager and banquet staff to ensure smooth and efficient event operations.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms with tables, chairs, linens, and other event materials as requested

• Break down and clean up banquet areas after events

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet rooms, storage areas, and back-of-house spaces

• Stock banquet rooms with necessary supplies and equipment

• Assist with loading and unloading event materials and equipment

• Follow event setup diagrams and instructions provided by the Banquet Manager

• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills & Abilities

• Strong attention to detail and organization

• Ability to work efficiently and prioritize multiple tasks

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Dependability and a strong work ethic

Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

• Ability to bend, push, pull, and lift throughout the shift

• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions

• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
