JOB SUMMARYThe Busser is responsible for clearing and resetting tables, assisting servers, and ensuring courteous, professional, and efficient service to all guests.

The Hotel operates 24/7, so operational demands may require variations in shift days, start times, and hours worked. Weekend availability is a must.
Quickly clear and reset tables, ensuring all service ware is properly placed.
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area in compliance with Hotel and Health Department standards.
Stock and maintain stations for all meal periods with silverware, linens, condiments, and other supplies.
Serve guests with beverages, bread, and butter to start their dining experience; replenish as needed.
Transport dirty tableware to the dishwashing area for proper cleaning.
Assist servers with delivering orders, pre-bussing, and responding to guest needs.
Fold napkins and roll silverware throughout the day to maintain an adequate supply.
Perform general cleaning tasks using approved cleaning products.
Respond to special requests and assist with unexpected spills or needs to ensure guest satisfaction.
Follow all company policies, procedures, safety, and security guidelines.
Report unsafe conditions, accidents, or injuries to a supervisor/manager immediately.
Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance in accordance with company standards.
Assist other restaurant personnel as needed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Knowledge of State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations regarding service to minors and intoxicated guests.
Current Food Handler Card or ability to obtain certification.
Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
Familiarity with proper table settings and service ware.
Ability to communicate effectively in English and follow simple instructions.
Ability to comprehend and apply product labeling and safety instructions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and push up to 100 lbs. on a hand cart.
Constant standing and walking throughout the shift.
Frequent twisting, bending, stooping, reaching, talking, hearing, seeing, and smiling.
