Job Summary

As a Houseperson, youll be a key support for the Housekeeping team and a friendly face to our guests. Youll ensure public areas, corridors, and service spaces are spotless and well-stocked, and youll assist with heavy lifting and guest requests throughout the day. Whether its refreshing a hallway, delivering an item to a guest, or spotting something out of place, your attentiveness and efficiency help maintain the high standards of our hotel.

Key Responsibilities

• Make routine rounds to clean and organize guest room corridors, elevators, vending areas, stairwells, and guest laundry spaces.

• Remove trash, clean surfaces, and remove stains or scuff marks from carpets.

• Assist housekeeping by collecting soiled linens, stripping rooms, and transporting dirty items to laundry or kitchen areas.

• Restock floor closets with clean linens, amenities, and supplies.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of floor closets and service areas.

• Respond to guest requests by delivering needed items promptly and professionally.

• Report lost and found items, maintenance needs, safety hazards, or damages to management.

• Adhere to all hotel safety, security, and appearance standards.

• Assist fellow team members and complete other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Basic English communication skills are required.

• Prior housekeeping experience is helpful.

• Able to operate vacuums, carpet cleaners, and communicate via property radios.

• Comfortable interacting with guests and team members in a courteous and professional manner.

• Must be organized, proactive, and safety-conscious.

Physical Demands

• Able to push heavy carts (up to 200 lbs) and lift up to 100 lbs occasionally.

• Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, climbing stairs, and walking or standing for long periods.

• Able to perform repetitive physical tasks while maintaining a friendly and attentive demeanor.

Schedule

The hotel operates 24/7, including weekends and holidays. Flexibility with scheduling is required to meet operational demands.
