As a Room Attendant, you play a vital role in making our hotel feel like home. While travel can be exciting, many guests miss the comfort of homeand your work ensures they experience a clean, welcoming, and restful stay. Youll be responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms in accordance with company procedures and high cleanliness standards, creating a positive impression that guests will remember.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean, dust, polish, and vacuum guest rooms and bathrooms to meet hotel standards.

• Change linens, make beds, and leave bathrooms sparkling clean.

• Replenish guest room supplies (soap, shampoo, towels, etc.).

• Organize and restock your cart and linen closet at the start and end of each shift.

• Greet guests with a warm and friendly attitude during your shift.

• Follow knocking and entry procedures when entering guest rooms.

• Complete daily housekeeping checklists and accurately report rooms ready for inspection.

• Report damages, maintenance needs, or safety hazards (e.g., broken furniture, burned-out lights).

• Maintain neat and tidy corridors and service areas.

• Return lost and found items and guest room keys appropriately.

• Comply with all hotel policies, procedures, safety, and security guidelines.

• Assist fellow housekeeping staff when needed and perform other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Basic English communication skills (written and verbal).

• Ability to visually inspect rooms and identify guest belongings left behind.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.

• Able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.

• Good interpersonal skills to interact professionally with guests and coworkers.

• Comfortable using cleaning equipment and following safety protocols.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent bending, twisting, stooping, standing, and walking.

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25-30 pounds regularly, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

• Able to move arms, hands, and fingers quickly and efficiently to perform cleaning duties.

• Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance at all times as outlined in the team member handbook.

Schedule

This position requires flexibility, including weekends and holidays, as the hotel operates 24/7. Shift hours and start times may vary based on operational needs.
