The Opportunity

The Radical is looking for a Sous Chef who's ready to lead from the line, someone hands-on, organized, and genuinely excited about food, not just executing recipes. You'll work directly under our Executive Chef to run daily kitchen operations across Golden Hour, our rooftop bar, and private events, helping translate a seasonal, locally sourced menu into consistent, high-quality plates every service.

What You'll Do

• Run day-to-day kitchen operations across shifts, keeping quality and consistency high under pressure
• Support the Executive Chef in developing and executing seasonal, locally sourced menus
• Lead, train, and motivate line cooks and kitchen staff on technique, standards, and pace
• Step in as kitchen leader in the Executive Chef's absence
• Manage prep lists, inventory, and food cost with an eye for efficiency and quality
• Uphold food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards throughout the kitchen
• Bring energy and precision to private events and special culinary moments on property
• Help build a kitchen culture rooted in craft, teamwork, and pride in the work

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

• Previous line cook or kitchen leadership experience preferred, but drive and work ethic matter most
• Comfortable running a station and keeping composure during high-volume service
• Genuine interest in seasonal, local ingredients and creative menu execution
• Natural leader who can train and motivate a team, not just manage a checklist
• Organized, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure
• Ready to grow, this role is a strong step toward an Executive Chef path
