Supervise and coordinate activities of kitchen staff to ensure food is prepared and served in accordance with established standards. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen while supporting daily operations and ensuring guest satisfaction.

The Hotel operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, so operational demands require variations in shift days, starting times, and hours worked in a week.
- Supervise kitchen employees and assign duties as needed
- Ensure all food is prepared according to recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards
- Monitor food quality and consistency during all phases of preparation and service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and storage areas
- Enforce all health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Assist with inventory control, ordering, and receiving of food and supplies
- Train and support kitchen staff in proper procedures and techniques
- Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure timely and accurate service
- Step in to assist with food preparation during peak periods
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment required
- Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Must hold a current Food Handler Card
- Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette
- Knowledge of all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
- Basic knowledge of the English language sufficient to understand customer inquiries and communicate simple instructions
- Ability to comprehend and apply written product labeling instructions to safely use cleaning products and kitchen processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to transport up to 30 lbs. through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout the shift.
- Lifting Fifty (30) pounds maximum.
- Constant standing & walking required.
