Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Hotel Sales Assistant to join our team at the Hilton Rockville. In this role, you will support our sales and marketing efforts by providing exceptional service to clients by assisting in the coordination of events and bookings. If you are passionate about hospitality and have a flair for sales, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the sales team in generating leads and managing client relationships.
  • Prepare and send proposals, contracts, and confirmations to clients.
  • Coordinate and assist with the planning of events, meetings, and conferences.
  • Maintain and update the customer database and sales tracking systems.
  • Support promotional activities and marketing campaigns to enhance hotel visibility.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and seamless service delivery.
  • Attend trade shows and networking events as needed.

    Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality, business, or a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in sales or customer service, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with hotel management software is an advantage.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
