With good pay, extensive benefits and a family atmosphere, we are looking for a skilled individual to join the existing maintenance team to specialize in pool maintenance.

Job Type: Full Time

Pay $ 16.00 per hour

Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of ageReports to: Chief Engineer, Engineering Department

As a pool maintenance engineer, you will ensure all pools within the resort are properly maintained with strict adherence to local and federal health and safety guidelines. You may often be working in guest areas so a professional and thorough work ethic is required.

Responsibilities include:

• Must be able to interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Have basic skills in working with pool chemicals and know how to read chlorine levels.
• Will be required to do some minor electrical work.
• Maintain standards of quality guest service.
• Scrupulously adhere to all safety standards.
• Increase level of guest satisfaction by delivery of an exceptional product through employee development.
• Promptly respond to and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner.

Personal Skills

• Must demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
• Ability to accurately report information.
• Ability to scrupulously follow all Driftwood and Margaritaville Lake Resort policies and procedures.

• Projects and assignments are completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care.
• Adjusts to high-pressure conditions and is open to change.

Physical Requirements

• Minimum lifting/pulling of 50 pounds.
• Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
• Hearing, writing, typing.
