Zelda Dearest, a beautifully restored boutique hotel in the heart of Asheville’s vibrant South Slope District, is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic bartender to join our team. We are seeking someone who is creative, guest-focused, and ready to craft both timeless classics and inventive, modern cocktails for our guests.

What You'll Do

• Craft a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including pre-batched cocktails.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and serving drinks and light snacks.
• Make personalized recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Contribute ideas to seasonal bar menus and assist with their execution.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service by verifying guest identification.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout your shift.
• Create a warm, welcoming environment where each guest feels special.
• Follow all local and company food & beverage regulations.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a bartender in a high-quality bar or restaurant setting.
• Strong knowledge of mixology, garnishing, and beverage presentation.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Positive, can-do attitude with a team-first mindset.
• Ability to work Thursday through Sunday evenings (our bar closes at 9 PM, so no late nights!).
• ServSafe Alcohol Certification (or equivalent) preferred.
